This California Central Coast red blend is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petite Sirah, 3% Zinfandel, 3% Syrah and 3% Petit Verdot. Flavors of dark cherry, currants and chocolate dominate. It is a dense, full-bodied wine with good structure and a nice, lingering finish. It pairs well with aged gouda or parmesan, salads, potatoes, steak and red-sauce pastas.
