Care Instructions: Watering: These highbush blueberries will need to be watered daily for the first 3-5 weeks; then 2-3 times a week for the remainder of the year until winter. Watering needs may be altered due to extreme weather conditions. Soil/Conditions: All varieties prefer well-draining, acidic soil. Highbush blueberries love the addition of peat and organic matter in their soil. For the first two years after planting, we recommend removing any young fruit as it develops. This will allow the plant's energy to be put into root and branch development. Even though these varieties are self-pollinating, you may want to plant other blueberry varieties to increase your yearly berry yield.
