These bamboo hand towels are made of 100% viscose from organic bamboo, with 600 grams per square meter. Overview Blissfully soft, they are made from 100% pure viscose from certified organic bamboo. Naturally odor-deterrent and antibacterial, they are also three times more absorbent than cotton towels. Sustainable and renewable Bamboo is an eco-friendly textile fiber, organically grown without fertilizers or pesticides. Because it is nature’s fastest growing crop, it can grow up to 2 feet a day, replenishing itself naturally without replanting. It can be harvested naturally and helps to slow deforestation. It is also completely biodegradable! The bamboo plantation used for the production of this product is USDA and OCIA certified organic. Naturally antibacterial Bamboo is naturally antibacterial, due to an inherent property known as “bamboo kun”. According to a study done by the China Industrial Testing Center, bamboo fiber exhibited a 99.8% kill rate after a 24 hour incubation period. It is mildew-resistant to help maintain a clean and healthy home. Soft and absorbent As soft as silk and cashmere, viscose from bamboo fabric is also three times more absorbent than cotton.
