Choose between Heritage Ever-bearing Red Raspberry, or Raspberry ShortcakeA(R) Raspberry! Unfortunately at this time we cannot ship raspberries into AZ, CA, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA. Overview Heritage Ever-bearing Red Raspberry arrives in a #1 container size. These will bloom a beautiful pink with dark red fruit. They are best grown in zones 4-8, and will mature to be 4-5′ tall, and 1.5-2′ wide. This variety is a staple in berry gardening for their luscious, sweet flavor and double the berries! Harvest in July and again in September for all your pie, jams, and frozen berry desires! This bountiful variety is a vigorous grower, and self-pollinating! Bushel and BerryA(R) Raspberry ShortcakeA(R) arrives in a #2 container size. These blooms will be white with a beautiful red fruit.These are best grown in zones 5-9. This variety will grow to roughly 2-3′ tall, and 2-3′ wide. Raspberry ShortcakeA(R) is a deliciously tart treat that will be the joy of summertime in your garden. This compact variety thrives in patio containers, raised beds or directly in the ground. Care Instructions: Watering: These varieties of raspberries will need to be watered daily for the first 3-5 weeks; then 2-3 times a week for the remainder of the year until winter. Watering needs may be altered due to extreme weather conditions. Soil/Conditions: Well draining, part acidic, organic-rich soil. Pruning: After fruiting, prune all canes that produced fruit. We recommend thoroughly pruning in late winter to early spring to remove any damage. These raspberry varieties are self-fertile, and do not require another variety to cross-pollinate. Shipping & Delivery: All Bower & Branch plants are fresh from the grower and shipped in specialized grower packaging. Plants are shipped on specific days depending on your location to reduce days in transit. All orders are shipped within 5 days of ordering and are delivered by UPS to your door. These raspberry varieties start shipping in September through June. Shipping is not available in July and August.
