Our leather partners cherish their hides, the waste they produce is in small seemingly unusable pieces, which is why we have had to develop this modular approach. We only work with the off-cuts produced by our leather partners so every piece we create is unique. Ethically handmade in England, these cubes make ideal doorstops, pouffes, furniture, wedding gifts or simply exquisite objects. They are nice and heavy, stuffed completely with reclaimed leather of the same quality, making them 100% reclaimed and zero waste. They can also be personalised and if you would like a larger size, contact us with your request and we will arrange the rest.Due to the modular concept our cubes are designed for deconstruction, we want them to have a long and varied life. We have created three shapes that can interlock with infinite potential. The three shapes can help the cubes to be remade, and reinvented through time. We hope that our cubes are just the beginning. Whizz around town This is Elvis & Kresse's Laptop Bag: a combination of hard-wearing vintage fire-hose and hand-woven rescued Burberry leather. The sleek design is perfect for when you want to travel light around the city. You can comfortably carry a 14" laptop and the bag has a large internal zip pocket. The Laptop Bag, part of our Fire & Hide Collection, is crafted through a transformation of leather fragments from the production of Burberry leather goods. Our craftsmen individually cut and hand weave, piece by piece, these otherwise lost scraps of leather into whole new hides. The Fire & Hide Collection is the sumptuous blend of our signature decommissioned fire-hose and rescued leather. Every option includes handles and trim in Elvis & Kresse's signature decommissioned fire-hose, which was previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years, fighting fires and saving lives around the UK. The Fire & Hide Collection In 2005 we fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose. Determined to save it from landfill we took this lifesaving material home, gave it a second chance, and vowed to donate 50% of the profits to the Fire Fighters Charity. But fire-hose was just the beginning. Every year, 800,000 tonnes of leather ends up on the cutting room floor. Our leather partners cherish their hides, but no matter how carefully they cut their patterns, there will always be small seemingly unusable offcuts. To rescue this leather we developed a unique modular approach. We hand weave these fragments into whole new hides then lovingly recraft them into sustainable luxury bags and accessories.
