Goddess Athena, Handcrafted, Gold Plated Silver, Coin Pendant in a Meander Frame-Excellent Quality Copy-Ancient Greece This hand-crafted silver pendant is inspired by an ancient Greek stater. The real ancient Greek stater was made of gold & minted in the name of the greatest military leader of antiquity, King Alexander the Great of Macedon. The obverse depicts the portrait of the goddess of wisdom & warfare, Athena. She is shown facing right, her lips slightly parted, her hair flowing from under a plumed Corinthian helmet. The reverse with an arrow.The legend reading: ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ “Of Alexander” A meander or meandros (Greek: Μαίανδρος) is a decorative border constructed from a continuous line, shaped into a repeated motif. It symbolizes infinity & unity. This pendant is handcrafted with extra care in 925 Sterling Silver (Gold Plated on the inside). It is made in Greece, its diameter size is 2.15 cm (excluding the bails), & it weighs approximately 6.5 g.
