Little Hug Fruit Barrels have been a family favorite since 1974. The single serving fruit barrels were the first of their kind for kids and have been a staple in lunchboxes ever since. A commitment to innovation has led to enhanced flavors, less sugar, vitamin fortification and the addition of straws to help keep kids clean and dry while they're on the go. What Is The Sugar Content? While some may remember the sugar high associated with Little Hug fruit barrels from the '80s and '90s, these have had a bit of a makeover when it comes to nutrition. Little Hug Assorted Drinks now contain 75% less sugar per serving than the former recipe, rounding out to only two grams of sugar per Little Hug fruit barrel, so you can hand them out to the kids without the fear of abandoning their nap time later. With four flavors in Fruit Punch, Blue Raspberry, Kiwi Strawberry and Grape, this package is perfect for snacks and lunches as it can accommodate any developing palate or match whatever flavor that they actually like today.
